Following some pleasant boating, with friend Erik Kuijken, who, besides a well-maintained and surprisingly outfitted LandRover, also owns a beauty of a 7.50 metres long motorized barque (sporting a 64 horsepower Mercedes-engine, it is a goddamn floating Cadillac), named Buster, I am helping him out for a far too little bit, over this weekend, with applying new coats of tar and paint, to it. Memories of my youth, as a sea scout with the Bim Bakenesser Group, on the far side of the water (Buster is beached with the HJC, momentarily).
